The project was to comprehensively reinvent the brand identity of a local business. The original logo featured a static of sharp-angled decorative elements. I kept only the initials, nesting the K inside of the B in a nod to the nesting couples who make up their client base, then I warmed the palette to a respectable suburban color scheme, all with the intention of domesticating the rough edges of the imagined construction worker to make him appear more soccer-mom friendly.
